Barbara Gabogrecan grew
up in the Australian bush completing her schooling by
Correspondence. It was here she fell in love with the Australian
fauna and flora which features in her art work.
She
taught Art in Secondary schools for over 20 years and at the
National Galley of Victoria (part time) for over 13 years. She then
commenced her own Art business from Home and won 7 of the
Australian Gift of the Year Awards.
Barbara
decided that she wanted to share her knowledge and expertise by
assisting others in the 'start up' and running of their own Micro
and Home Based Businesses and has set up Networks and Associations
to achieve this (www.mcei.org.au and www.hbba.biz)
Barbara
works closely with all levels of Government so that she can provide
a voice for the sector and enable Government bodies to gain a
better understanding of the Micro and Home Based Businesses. She
has sat on a number of Government Committees and currently works
closely with Councils to bring her message and special support to
the sector.
Currently
Barbara is in demand as a speaker and
presenter and is an author of note, with the best seller 'How to Run a Business From
Your Kitchen Table' in its second edition.
